And fog lights have many other functions besides fog, such as other types of bad weather and increasing side light for cornering. Virtually all the non-biased tests that I have read for 20-30 years show that there is an almost 50/50 split between drivers as to whether they really think fog lights help or not under the test conditions. P.S.If you review the test data from a number of tests (both law enforcement and private organizations), you will find that fog lights really turn out to be a personal preference, whether yellow or clear. The pictures are the stock vs the Nokya Hyper Yellow but the camera doesn't actually don't you how yellow the light looks so if you're looking for that white/yellow contrast between your headlights/fog lights you'll definitely be happy with these. Left fog light was a BITCH to change since there is so little room and with big hands it is going to scrape your hands and arms trying to change it so be warned!Īll in all I changed the fog lights for the Nokya Hyper Yellow 881 27W Light Bulbs and they look great and I would show pictures although I can't add attachments. You need to push the fog light out and then continue twisting to get past the piece of plastic/metal.Ĥ. There's a piece of plastic/metal sticking out that blocks you from twisting the fog lights out all the way. Get a light and get under your car to really look at how to get your hand into the right spot to twist the light outģ. If you have bigger hands like I do, this is going to be painful.Ģ. I just wanted to post this thread to tell anyone who's thinking of changing their fog lights without removing their front bumper.ġ.
